Karthauser & Sons Wholesale Florists is a florist in Germantown, Wisconsin. It is listed at W147N11100 Fond du Lac Ave, Germantown, WI 53022, which places it among the local businesses of Germantown that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Florists in the United States range from neighborhood flower shops with a walk-in cooler to studio designers who work only by appointment for weddings and events. Most retail florists build arrangements to order, deliver the same day when you call before early afternoon, and belong to a wire network (FTD, Teleflora or BloomNet) that passes out-of-town orders to a local shop. Ordering from the shop directly rather than through a national website usually means more flowers for the money, because no order-gatherer takes a cut. Flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, often early in the morning, and many now open to the public. Flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies and sunflowers and sell by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 7 am–1 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (800) 338-8620. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, karthauser.net.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 5 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Germantown is in Wisconsin, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Germantown follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.
